Bro and sister-in-Law coming back
Today me and my brother and mom went to look at a house on Todd Bridge Road that he has been interested in. It sits on 2 acres of land and is an old farm house, that they will have to do a little work to, but it has potential. He is currently living in Murray Kentucky until his wife graduates from the nursing program at Murray State University. She has recently become pregnant and now is wanting to move back home, they are home sick shall we say. I can't wait until they move back and the great thing about it is that they will only be 5 miles from my house. I can either drive to his house, run, bike, or ride my horse and then lock it in his small field. It will be great.

Swim training
Today after school I went and meet up with my brother at the YMCA where we did some swim training for our triathlon. This was the first time that we were able to swim together when it comes to lap swimming. I started this kind of swimming last year when I started training for my triathlon, I didn't do much of this swim training because I didn't really have a place to swim train, but this year I have been training at the YMCA and usually go 4 plus times a week. I have really improved my technique and training this year when it comes to training, I am no where near a lot of my competition but I have improved quite a bit. Zach has just started this year when it comes to lap swim and haven't really expected to see him do as well as he has in the pool until I saw him today. He has taught himself everything that he knows at this point, he has heard be talk a little about it but never been shown what to do. Today I was able to show him a little more that would help in the future, but anyways he is doing great and I am very proud of what he is doing. Perfecting a swim stroke all comes with time and how often you swim.
Survivor Man-Bear Grills
Have you ever watched the show survivor man with Bear Grills, a British man that served in US forces (the Greenbaraa (don't exactly know how to spell it but the speacil forces.)) He goes to all of these different places in the middle of no where and finds his way back to civilization. He shows us how all of these helpful hits that can help us in different terrains. Things to do to live off of the land and how to make things that will keep us surviving in the wild. He does a lot of things that the average person would not attempt or even be able to do, but he is always sucessful. That is an inspiration to me because I want to be the best at everything and I know I am not the best but I try to be and work hard to get as far as I can. I like to do the type of things that he does and watching him will help prepare me for what I am going to face when I am in the wild. Something that every man should do.
Survivor
Survivor is a reality game television show that comes on every Thursday night at seven. It is my absolute favorite television show. There has been 21 seasons of survivor and I have not missed an episode. If I missed an episode I would either have my mom record it or watch it on the internet on You Tube. I love the game and have been watching it for eleven years which would mean I have been watching it since I was 7 or 8 years old. And ever since the first episode that I watched, it has been one of my dreams to become a survivor. People in my family have said that they wanted to sign up for the show but what makes me different from them is that I will do everything that I can to get on the show now that I am old enough. I have a type of mind set that when I want to do something I will.
American Pickers
I've been sitten here watching the show on the history channel called "American Pickers." It is just an awesome show. These two guys are traveling across America searching for old American historical junk that seems to be worth nothing but can usually make a little money off of. They go to these places that are cluttered and crowded and junk laying all over the place, buildings full and even the yard just has junk lying around making the place look bad and sometimes seems if looking is just as if it is a hopeless cause, but these two guys seem to be able to find stuff of value and end up making a few dollars over it. They will buy something and are happy even if they make a buck out of it. Some of the stuff that they buy are really interesting and I wouldn't mind having it, they pull out some really old stuff that is half in the ground half out. It would be awesome to be able to restore some of the stuff they find.

Training
Training is going good, but I am currently at a stand still. When a person trains they tend to improve in spurts; they will start their training and have a huge increase in ability, but that is only because they are so out of shape. Then they get to a peak or run into a cliff, figuratively speaking, and that is when they have a stand still. This is when the athelete is going to have to start to increase their training, buckle down and focus on what they want. When you get to this peak atheletes have a hard time to keep moving forward because they see no improvment and get discuraged, but this is the crushial point, and when you keep on before to long you will have another spike of improvment. Training is great and I wish that I could make more time in my day so that I could do more of it. I know people that can just keep going, they get only three to four hours sleep each night and and eight hour sleep on Saturday, yet they still going without problem. But for me I can't do this because when I try I eventually crash and can't keep going. it would be awesome if i could do this because I feel that I would be much better an athelete. I would have more hours to train and still be able to work and get things done, but this ability does come before me.

Brad and Zach Tri-Training
This coming Friday is my brothers birthday and he is coming to town from Murry. My brother is awesome and I can't wait to see him this weekend. It has been a couple of weeks sense I saw him last. I started to do Triathlons last year, starting to swim a lot and run a lot and biking a lot. I bought a trek road bike last year and started to ride a lot. I did the Lake Wood Valley Triathlon last year and finished with a fairly okay time for the first one I had ever done. I loved doing this kind of stuff and just wanted to keep continuing with it and getting better. I hope to eventually do a full Iron Man someday, I hope to do a half-Iron Man this coming Summer or Fall. Anyways in me completing this it inspired my brother who had gotten well out of shape to start training, lose a bunch of weight, get into shape, and finish the Lake Wood Valley Triathlon. He has bought a trek bike as well and has started to ride it, he also has been running and swimming in a pool at Murry State University. He has been improving a lot since he started his training and I look forward to competing against him this summer and to watch him finish. He is coming in this weekend and I am going to help him train and show him some tips that may help him improve even more.
Samurai Swords
Me and my best boy Earl other wise known as my sisters boyfriend and most likely my future brother-in-law if everything goes as planned and works out accordingly, were in Gatlinburg last weekend and bought some sweet Samurai swords. We are young boys that love cool things and lets just say that Samurai swords are among the coolest things ever. I got a sweet mid-evil sword for Christmas. Anyways we were at the China Bazaar and found a deal on Samurai swords that we couldn't pass up. On the church trips no one is allowed to buy weapons but we got permission because he knows that he can trust us and have much more dangerous weapons at home. We want to learn how to sword fight because it is a sweet skill and who knows when it will come down to a battle and swords have to be drawn. We got some sweet wooden swords as well so we can learn to fight with, without killing each other, but something that will hurt so we can learn from our mistakes. This probably sounds silly to a lot of folks but awesome to us and some of our other best boys from the youth group. I love learning new skills and want to learn as many as I can in my life time.
Old Time Photo
Last weekend when we were at Gatlinburg we took our annual old time photo. I must say that it was awesome and is always lots of fun and something to laugh about later and also while were getting ready and taking our photo. The first year that they took to old time photo I was at baseball tryouts and was not able to go on the trip and was not able to participate in the photo. It was also the first year that our new youth minister was at our church and went on the trip and they did a gangster theme. The next two years we have had a incredible attendance on the trip and was mandator to take the picture and it was a western theme. I always made a great looking cowboy and everyone thought that I had been born in the wrong time period, it would have been awesome. Then this year we went to the same old time photo place in which we really didn't like the owner there cause she was stressed and not very nice. Anyways we went and stood in line and then her machine broke and had to leave and find another one, which we liked better. We decided we wanted to bring back the gangster theme beings we didn't have near the people that wanted to do it. Of course they put me in the center cause I stood out due to the fact that I took the best stuff (hat and tommy gun with my sweet suit) and I was the tallest. We stood in front of an old car with our sweet outfits and took possibly the best gangster old time photo ever.
Gatlinburg Church Trip
Last weekend me and my church youth group went to Gatlinburg for a church retreat. Leaving from church at 8:30 A.M. we started on our journey. It was a farly long trip that took approximatly 6 hours driving but about 8 hours time after we stopped for lunch and all of the times we had to stop for bathroom breaks. With all of the people in the bus you can see why we had to stop so often, bladders seem to get small when your driving. When we got to Gatlinburg we found our hotel and then imediatly headed to the convention to get some worship time in. The convention was over at about ten o'clock their time and we headed to the room to do a devotion and have some fun. The next morning we got up early to hit the convention again and by noon we had a break til 6 o'clock to do whatever we wanted. Taking our yearly old time photo and then just roamed the streets buying and having great fun. Me and Earl bought a couple of Samarii swords each (a longer and a shorter one.) Anyways we went back to the convention for a couple of hours and then went to eat Bubba Gumps Shrimp. I then bought a new STALLION shirt. Then next morning we went to the convention for church and headed home.
What is silly?
I think that many things are silly, things that make me happy, and things that make things go by quickly and with a lot of fun. It may seem that I'm not a very outgoing person but when I am with people that I know well of people that I have a good time being with I can get very silly. This often happens when I am with my family, friends, or with my church youth group. Movies that I think are silly is Napolean Dinamite, Joe dirt, Nacho Libre, and Christmas Vacation. I love watching these movies becasue they are hillarious and I get a many of my quotes that I like to say all the time from these movies. Silly times are when you are with your family for a get-together and just spending that time together is when many things that are silly come out. When your are a young kid a lot of the times we get embarassed becasue we think that they are laughing at us and that they are making fun of us when really it is just good fun. But when we get older we realize that it is just all good fun and they are usually laughing with us, not at us. And those are the times that we come to realize are the times that we remember the most, because they have such an impact in our life.
